Lenders Democratic Party, PDP, chieftain, and former Delta State gubernatorial aspirant, Chief Sunny Onuesoke, has appealed to the Federal Government to ban the ongoing fact tv show, Major Brother Naija.
He appealed to spiritual leaders, including Muslim and Christian clerics to include their voices in the decision to ban the plan on Nigerian televisions.
Onuesoke claimed to let an “immoral” show such as the “Major Brother Naija” be transmitted in Nigeria can rust the heads of the younger technology, particularly teenagers. naija news
Based on him, “BBNaija is an exhibition of recklessness. We're stimulating it so poorly that people give it time to be shown freely on television. It is an invitation to turmoil and exhibition of nudity. We now idolize idleness and immorality. What do we get from open vulgarity, open nudity, the distribution of shamelessness? For me personally, BBNaija is an abomination.
It is a show in which some adults collected in an enclosed position and permitted to accomplish whatever entered their heads.”
“Fine, numerous different bad things are going on everywhere, including kidnapping, banditry, and the impunity of extensively corrupt political elite across all celebration lines, but destruction/distortion of prices is one of the very critical of steps towards all these different societal vices.
“Those contrary to the Federal Government plan to ban the show are typically benefiting, as a result, one of the ways or one other as the social and social norms of the society are increasingly being eroded.
“Actually the devil can condemn that show. I don't watch it but comments from social media suggest it is focused on immorality. When young adults condemn it, then it really must be bad.
